Introduction Of Nepal

Being a landlocked sovereign state, Nepal is sandwiched between the Indian sub-continent in the South,East and West as well as Barren plateau of Tibet in the North part of South Asia.Having an area of 1,47,181 sq.km.(56,827 sq.miles) Nepal is a Democratic Republic country with approximate population of 27 million and around 2 million people living abroad.By land mass Nepal is the 93rd largest and 41st most populous country.As Himalayas lies in the Tibetan Autonomous Region,Indian states Uttarakhand, Utter Pradesh, Bihar,West Bengal and Sikkim also borders Nepal.National capital of Nepal is Kathmandu Which is the largest metropolis.Nepal is a sacred land where lord Buddha was born over 2600 years ago and has unique and exotic culture.In terms of Bio-diversity Nepal is the most popular travelers destination.  
Nepal has eight of the ten highest peaks in the world, including the highest peak in the world,Mount Everest,known as Sagarmatha in Nepal.More than 240 peaks over 20,000 ft above mean sea level lies in Nepal where Temperature ranges from 40ºc on the plains to -30ºc in high Himalayas.Geography and climate has a major impact on collection of flora and fauna as well as on life style of people. Nepalese abundance of customs,Traditions,Ancient temples and Architecture a journey here still remains a magic

About 81% of the total population are Hindus with 9% practicing Buddhism along with 4.4% Islams,3% Kirat , 1.4% Christianity and 0.4% animism.
Nepal being ruled by the Shah dynasty Kings from 1768, Prithvi Narayan Shah unified many small kingdoms.Interim election government under the leadership of judicial justice Khil Raj Regmi has been formed to hold Constituent Assembly Election to end Political deadlock by announcing Election Date.
